Aceh Regional Food Prices Today: Red Chili Price Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (August 4, 2025) at 12:35 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include shallots, consumption salt, large red chili, packaged cooking oil, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, medium rice, pure beef, premium rice, and dried soybean (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp3,500 (10.77%) to Rp36,000 per kg. As for red bird's eye chili, its price fell the sharpest by Rp3,000 (6.52%) to Rp43,000 per kg.
