Jakarta DKI Region Food Prices Monday (February 17th): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

Food prices in Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 12:53 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include Minyakita, table salt, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, milkfish, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Table salt saw the highest price increase of Rp454 (4.01%) to Rp11,778 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price drop of Rp6,875 (16.92%), reaching Rp33,750 per kg.
