Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Sunday, December 3, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2:23 PM WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 saw price increases and 3 saw decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybeans (import), milkfish, shallots, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, skipjack tuna, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase, up Rp540 (1.71%) to Rp32,050 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease, down Rp2,320 (2.73%) to Rp82,510 per kg.
