Today's Food Price Update in Banten: Beef, Chicken, and Onion Prices Drop (Friday, January 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/1/2024) at 09.18 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for garlic bulbs, up by Rp2,470 (7.07%) to Rp37,420 per kg. The biggest price decrease was for milkfish, down Rp4,440 (13.29%) to Rp28,980 per kg.
