Chili Pepper Price in West Kalimantan Reaches Rp 122,750 per Kg (Friday, February 25, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of chili peppers (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 78,720 per kg, data as of Friday, February 25, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 78,460 per kg.

The daily price of chili peppers in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 122,750 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chili peppers in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 145,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, chili peppers were sold at Rp 118,800 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chili peppers in North Kalimantan was Rp 106,500 per kg, Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 101,700 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 96,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with chili pepper sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for chili peppers are North Sulawesi, Central Java, and Aceh.
