Food Prices Today, November 21, in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Red Chilies Down

The prices of several food items in DKI Jakarta today were observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (21/11/2025) at 5:46 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include Honan garlic, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, premium rice, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, premium packaged palm cooking oil, medium rice, and large red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest increase of Rp500 (1.03%) to Rp49,150 per kg. As for large red chilies, their price dropped most sharply by Rp1,417 (1.8%) to Rp77,250 per kg.

5. Red Onions: Rp49,150 per kg (up 1.03%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp40,117 per kg (up 0.63%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,700 per kg (up 0.13%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,100 per kg (up 0.17%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,533 per liter (down 0.44%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,450 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,275 per kg (up 0.14%)
