Bali Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Beef Prices Down (Tuesday, April 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (9/4/2024) at 14:26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, medium rice, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,380 (6.04%) to Rp41,790 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,230 (3.53%) to Rp33,570 per kg.
