Price of Fresh Commercial Chicken Eggs in Modern Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of fresh commercial chicken eggs in modern markets in Riau Province is recorded at Rp35,400 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh commercial chicken eggs in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp35,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh commercial chicken eggs in modern markets in Riau over the past three months has fallen by 1.12%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh commercial chicken eggs in modern markets in Riau Province was traded at Rp35,800 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh commercial chicken eggs in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2017 with a 63.33% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 with a -41.46% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Riau show seven commodities have decreased and 11 others have increased. The sembako with falling prices are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Commercial Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar and Fresh Commercial Chicken Eggs.
