Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (18/8/2024) at 12:01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, broiler chicken, milkfish, red chilies, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, only red onions decreased in price compared to yesterday.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp4,000 (14.6%) to Rp31,390 per kg. Red onions saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp170 (0.82%) to Rp20,630 per kg.
