Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt Up, Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (8/10/2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are milkfish, red onion, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, red bird's eye chili, garlic, mackerel, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity surged the highest by Rp328 (2.84%) to Rp11,857 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the most by Rp2,216 (4.41%) to Rp48,078 per kg.

5. Milkfish: Rp45,833 per kg (up 0.87%)
6. Red Onion: Rp45,000 per kg (up 2.0%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44,167 per kg (down 1.17%)
8. Mackerel: Rp41,250 per kg (down 2.22%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,417 per kg (down 0.05%)
10. Garlic Bulb: Rp38,929 per kg (down 2.39%)
