Food Prices Today, January 13 in DKI Jakarta: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 13, 2026) at 17:57 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk granulated sugar, large red chili, beef hind leg, curly red chili, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, and premium packaged palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili increased the most by Rp500 (1.09%) to Rp46,417 per kg. Red cayenne pepper, on the other hand, decreased the most by Rp1,250 (2.14%) to Rp57,250 per kg.
