10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Prices (Friday, June 7, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 43,890 per kg, as of Friday, June 7, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 45,310 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 56,800 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 38,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 54,950 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in East Kalimantan was Rp 54,000 per kg, Bali Rp 52,800 per kg, and West Sumatra Rp 52,150 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 20 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are North Kalimantan, Riau Islands, and West Sulawesi.
