The price of medium-sized garlic in North Maluku is Rp 50,950 per kg (Friday, March 4, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of medium-sized garlic (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 38,360 per kg as of Friday, March 4, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 36,930 per kg.

The daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 50,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium-sized garlic in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 72,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, medium-sized garlic was sold at Rp 48,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of medium-sized garlic in Central Sulawesi was Rp 46,000 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 43,450 per kg, and West Kalimantan Rp 39,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, nine provinces had medium-sized garlic sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium-sized garlic were North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, and Jambi.
