Daily Fresh Chicken Meat Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Papua Province increased by Rp1,500 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp48,450.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets has increased from Rp46,550.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Papua over the past three months has decreased by 1.02%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in West Papua Province was traded at Rp48,950.

The record high for the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2017 with an increase of 42.16%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2018 with a decrease of -34.36%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show eight commodities decreased and 16 others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Super II Quality Rice, Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Large Red Chili, Granulated Sugar, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in West Papua Province:

6. Super II Quality Rice per Kg Rp17,750 per kg (down 0.28%)
7. Chili per Kg Rp95,650 per kg (up 11.94%)
8. Rice per Kg Rp17,250 per kg (down 0.29%)
9. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp22,350 per kg (up 1.36%)
