Today's Food Prices in Bali: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (27/8/2024) at 11:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, premium rice, medium rice, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp110 (1.07%) to Rp10,420 per kg. Red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,620 (6.9%) to Rp35,370 per kg.

8. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,520 per kg (up 0.15%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,650 per kg (down 3.02%)
10. Red Onions: Rp21,520 per kg (down 3.93%)
