Bali Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Up, Egg Prices Down (Wednesday, February 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/2/2024) at 2:30 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulb garlic, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken eggs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,820 (15.9%) to Rp13,270 per kg. Farmer-level corn had the lowest price decrease, down Rp300 (3.85%) to Rp7,490 per kg.
