Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Raw Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (6/4/2025) at 11.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, milkfish, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated salt, packaged wheat flour, large red chilies, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of bulb garlic saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,420 (3.26%) to Rp44,951 per kg. The price of large red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, falling Rp4,914 (10.3%) to Rp42,810 per kg.
