Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Tuesday (April 15th): Onion Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (15/4/2025) at 12:52 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), garlic cloves, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, Minyakita, premium rice, medium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,411 (2.87%) to Rp50,565 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of table salt decreased the most, by Rp187 (1.64%) to Rp11,223 per kg.
