Bali Food Prices Friday (June 28th): Chicken, Sugar, and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (28/6/2024) at 11:41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,420 (20.58%) to Rp14,180 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken eggs fell the most sharply, dropping Rp1,160 (4.01%) to Rp27,790 per kg.
