Daily Prices of Raw Chili Peppers at Traditional Markets, February 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 2:44 PM WIB, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province has decreased by Rp 2,550 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 50,350.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has increased from Rp 47,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in South Kalimantan over the past three months has increased by 50.3% from the previous price of Rp 33,500.

The highest record increase in the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 82.07%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017 with a decrease of -34.8%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities today in South Kalimantan show three commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are red chili peppers, beef, and chili peppers.
