Jambi Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down (Sunday, March 10, 2024)

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (10/3/2024) at 12:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red chilies, red chili peppers, milkfish, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallot bulbs, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp2,290 (2.93%) to Rp80,340 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp510 (1.8%) to Rp27,760 per kg.
