Latest Food Prices in Banten: Rice Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (22/4/2024) at 18.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase of Rp830 (10.05%) to Rp9,090 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease of Rp1,000 (9.21%) to Rp9,860 per kg.
