Latest Food Prices in East Java, How Much Is Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) at 10:35 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, medium rice, corn at farmer level, dried soybeans (imported), and whole garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, curly red chili, consumption salt, Minyakita, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dried soybeans (imported) commodity surged the highest by Rp312 (3.19%) to Rp10,100 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt price dropped the sharpest by Rp338 (3.59%) to Rp9,074 per kg.

7. Curly Red Chili: Rp31,500 per kg (down 3.08%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,217 per kg (down 1.15%)
9. Whole Garlic: Rp30,305 per kg (up 0.62%)
10. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp28,526 per kg (down 3.45%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,811 per kg (down 0.79%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,722 per liter (down 0.29%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp17,659 per liter (down 1.23%)
