Latest Food Prices in Bali: Egg and Rice Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (8/5/2024) at 14:46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, garlic bulbs, red chilies, broiler chicken, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp890 (1.98%), reaching Rp45,920 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,180 (28.13%), reaching Rp5,570 per kg.
