Jambi Region Food Prices Today: Sugar Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (24/6/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, broiler chicken, red chilies, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, milkfish, shallots (bulb), curly red chilies, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Granulated sugar experienced the highest price increase of Rp80 (0.45%) to Rp17,760 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp5,530 (12.02%) to Rp40,470 per kg.
