Jambi Food Price Update Today: Onion, Egg, and Chicken Prices Rise (Thursday, March 7, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (7/3/2024) at 13.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, premium rice, red chilies, chicken eggs, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, curly red chilies, medium rice, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp990 (3.03%) to Rp33,620 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the least, by Rp4,230 (5.95%) to Rp66,920 per kg.
