Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Cayenne Pepper Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/9/2025) at 09:52 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, pure beef, broiler eggs, medium rice, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, premium rice, consumption sugar, mackerel, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity surged the highest by Rp12,206 (30.29%) to Rp52,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of consumption salt dropped the most by Rp416 (3.6%) to Rp11,143 per kg.

5. Skipjack Tuna: Rp46,667 per kg (up 6.67%)
6. Red Onion: Rp46,000 per kg (up 2.22%)
7. Milkfish: Rp45,833 per kg (up 0.87%)
8. Garlic Bulb: Rp42,500 per kg (up 1.33%)
9. Mackerel: Rp41,667 per kg (down 0.5%)
