Jakarta, DKI Food Prices on Monday (24/02): Prices of Oil, Chili Peppers, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (24/02/2025) at 13.21 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, granulated salt, red chilies, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp1,875 (1.41%) to Rp135,313 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the most by Rp1,412 (3.39%) to Rp40,235 per kg.
