Red Chili Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily red chili price in traditional markets of Aceh province is recorded at Rp53.4 thousand. This price decreased by Rp4,100 compared to the previous day.

Meanwhile, compared to the price a month ago, the daily red chili price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp43 thousand.

Over the past three months in Aceh, the daily red chili price in traditional markets has increased by 112.75% from the previously recorded Rp25.1 thousand.

The record increase in daily red chili prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2021 with an increase of 52.73%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2021 with a decrease of -38.52%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Aceh show that four commodities have decreased and 20 others have increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Daily Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Fresh Purebred Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province.

6. Daily Bird's Eye Chili per Kg in Traditional Markets by Province Rp44.75 thousand (down 28.29%)
7. Daily Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg in Traditional Markets by Province Rp44.75 thousand (down 28.29%)
8. Daily Cooking Oil per Kg in Traditional Markets by Province Rp21.15 thousand (up 1.2%)
