10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Premium Quality I Rice (Monday, February 28, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,770 per kg for Super I quality rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, February 28, 2022. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,740 per kg.

Super I quality rice in modern markets in Central Java was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 17,650 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Super I quality rice in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 18,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Sumatra, Super I quality rice was sold at Rp 15,750 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of Super I quality rice in North Kalimantan was Rp 15,050 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 13,950 per kg, and North Maluku Rp 13,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 10 provinces with Super I quality rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for Super I quality rice were East Java, Bali, and North Sulawesi.
