Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Region: Red Chili Rises, Bird's Eye Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 18, 2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are garlic bulbs, shallots, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, broiler chicken meat, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity increased the most by Rp895 (1.53%) to Rp59,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp2,868 (5.84%) to Rp46,250 per kg.

6. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp46,250 per kg (down 5.84%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp46,000 per kg (up 0.73%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42,667 per kg (unchanged)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,765 per kg (up 0.65%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,600 per kg (down 0.17%)
