Latest Food Prices in West Kalimantan: Chili Up, Rice Down (Wednesday, January 24, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Kalimantan today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (24/1/2024) at 10:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, red onions, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp3,340 (6.24%) to Rp56,860 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices decreased the most by Rp100 (1.23%) to Rp8,060 per kg.
