West Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Monday, January 22, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in West Kalimantan today is observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/1/2024) at 10:50 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and livestock-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp4,000 (7.81%) to Rp55,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken fell the lowest by Rp520 (1.16%) to Rp44,340 per kg.
