Banten Region Food Prices, Week of June 23rd: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 08.33 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp1,030 (6.88%) to Rp16,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp14,710 (29.59%) to Rp35,000 per kg.

4. Red Chilies: Rp35,000 per kg (down 29.59%)
5. Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (down 6.82%)
6. Red Chili Peppers: Rp32,000 per kg (down 21.99%)
7. Mackerel: Rp30,000 per kg (down 15.04%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 8.37%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (up 3.24%)
10. Milkfish: Rp25,000 per kg (down 22.62%)
