Today's Food Price List in Central Java: Beef and Chili Prices Drop (Tuesday, April 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (16/4/2024) at 16.12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, shallots, milkfish, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, pure beef, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp2,530 (5.5%) to Rp48,560 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,860 (12.51%) to Rp33,980 per kg.
