Bali's Latest Food Prices: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down (Thursday, February 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (8/2/2024) at 11:22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, curly red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp620 (3.71%) to Rp17,340 per liter. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,740 (4.9%) to Rp33,800 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp33,800 per kg (down 4.9%)

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,740 per kg (up 0.08%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,980 per kg (up 1.34%)
