Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (May 9, 2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities saw price increases and 6 saw price decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, premium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase, rising by Rp220 (2.51%) to Rp8,990 per kg. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease, falling by Rp1,920 (5.52%) to Rp32,840 per kg.
