Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt and Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, pure beef, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase of Rp1,720 (5.14%) to Rp35,190 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp770 (16.85%) to Rp3,800 per kg.
