Daily Prices of Grade 1 Beef at Traditional Markets in Central Java Province Decreased by 0.08% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of Grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Central Java Province is recorded at Rp132,500. This price is unchanged from the previous day, and has remained consistent over the past week.

Compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in traditional markets has decreased from Rp132,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has decreased by 0.15%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Grade 1 beef in traditional markets in Central Java Province was traded at Rp132,700.

The highest recorded price increase for daily Grade 1 beef in traditional markets in this province was in May 2021, with an increase of 9.03%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2017, with a decrease of -5.71%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java recorded 11 commodities decreasing and 18 increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Broiler Chicken, Red Chili, Grade I Medium Rice, Green Chili, Chili, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, and Red Chili.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price changes over the past month in Central Java Province:

2. Fresh Broiler Chicken, per kg: Rp44,200 (down 1.45%)
3. White Sugar, per kg: Rp17,300 (up 0.58%)

5. Branded Cooking Oil Package 2, per kg: Rp21,050 (up 3.69%)
6. Branded Cooking Oil Package 1, per kg: Rp20,900 (up 2.96%)
7. Cooking Oil, per kg: Rp21,000 (up 3.45%)
8. Red Chili, per kg: Rp55,050 (down 3.67%)
9. Grade I Medium Rice, per kg: Rp14,600 (down 5.19%)
10. Green Chili, per kg: Rp51,400 (down 8.38%)
11. Chili, per kg: Rp53,250 (down 6%)
12. Curly Red Chili, per kg: Rp49,400 (down 6.53%)
13. Large Red Chili, per kg: Rp56,150 (down 7.5%)
