Central Java Food Prices Saturday (18/5): Prices of Cooking Oil, Salt, and Chicken Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (18/5/2024) at 15:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, tongkol fish, kembung fish, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, premium rice, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp2,100 (6.83%) to Rp32,830 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the least, by Rp660 (1.75%) to Rp36,980 per kg.
