Food Prices in Jambi on Saturday (21/12): Prices of Chicken, Onions, and Cooking Oil Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 17:52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, kembung fish, tongkol fish, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, curly red chilies, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp370 (1.22%) to Rp30,750 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp1,230 (3.6%) to Rp32,950 per kg.
