Current Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken Meat Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, pure beef, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,030 (28.61%) to Rp13,620 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the steepest decline, dropping Rp1,860 (5.96%) to Rp29,340 per kg.

9. Curly Red Chili: Rp22,000 per kg (down 3.64%)
10. Shallots: Rp21,740 per kg (down 5.64%)
