Bengkulu Food Price Update Today: Beef Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Friday, January 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/1/2024) at 09.50 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 3 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase of Rp750 (3.06%) to Rp25,230 per kg. Mackerel prices saw the lowest decrease of Rp7,440 (19.87%) to Rp30,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in Bengkulu according to Bapanas as of January 12, 2024, at 09.50 WIB.

3. Curly Red Chili Peppers: Rp39,980 per kg (down 6.76%)
4. Shallots: Rp35,430 per kg (down 2.07%)
5. Garlic Bulbs: Rp34,890 per kg (down 3.49%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp33,510 per kg (down 4.12%)
7. Mackerel: Rp30,000 per kg (down 19.87%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,230 per kg (up 3.06%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,110 per kg (down 4.71%)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp16,780 per kg (down 2.61%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp15,770 per liter (down 1.07%)
