Today's Food Prices January 09 in West Sumatra: Chili Padi Rises, Red Chili Falls

Food prices in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (January 9, 2026) at 15:51 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The only commodity with an increased price is red chili padi.

Meanwhile, only curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red chili padi increased the most by Rp278 (0.36%) to Rp77,556 per kg. As for curly red chili, its price fell most sharply by Rp463 (1.0%) to Rp46,037 per kg.
