Seventy-five cities experienced inflation, while 15 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Mamuju at 1.43%, while the lowest was in Balikpapan and Ambon at 0.02%. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Baubau at 0.92%, and the lowest in Pontianak at 0.01%.
Inflation occurred due to price increases, indicated by the rise in most expenditure groups. The highest inflation was observed in the food, beverages, and tobacco group (0.81%), the food and beverage services group (0.33%), and the personal care and other services group (0.23%).
Indonesia's year-to-date (ytd) inflation rate was 0.26%, and the year-on-year (yoy) inflation rate was 1.55%.
