Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Cooking Oil, Eggs, and Chilies Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at 17:17 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, large red chilies, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,688 (2.5%), reaching Rp69,188 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,470 (2.07%), reaching Rp69,412 per kg.
