The daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan Province has decreased by 10.55% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of large red chilies in East Kalimantan's modern markets is recorded at Rp124,600 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets has decreased from Rp139,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has decreased by 6.42%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of large red chilies in East Kalimantan's modern markets was traded at Rp133,150 per kg.

The highest record for the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2024 with an increase of 54.47%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2024 at -35.26%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show 23 commodities decreased and three increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Medium I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Large Red Chili, Super I Quality Rice, Fresh Layer Eggs, Chicken Eggs, Red Onion, Quality 2 Beef, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Garlic, Premium Quality Sugar, Medium-Sized Garlic, Beef, Red Chili, Fresh Chicken Meat, Rice, Chicken Meat, Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Chili, Green Chili, and Local Sugar.
