Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Tuesday, March 5, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (5/3/2024) at 10:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities saw price increases and 9 saw price decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, mackerel, garlic bulbs, shallots, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of livestock-level corn saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,000 (10.0%) to Rp11,000 per kg. The price of shallots saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp1,670 (5.95%) to Rp26,420 per kg.
