Daily Red Chili Prices in Traditional Markets of South Sulawesi Province Decreased by 14.45% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:11 WIB, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province has decreased by Rp 11,200 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 38,350.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp 32,550.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 92.23% from the previously recorded price of Rp 19,950.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 70.4%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2024 at -22.63%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show five commodities decreased and twelve increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chilies, Large Red Chilies, Super I Quality Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
