In general, the largest capital inflows in Indonesia in the first quarter of 2026 were into the basic metals industry, metal goods, excluding machinery and equipment, with a proportion of 13.9% of total FDI and domestic investments.

The next largest investments were in other service sectors (12.9%); mining (10.4%); housing, industrial and office areas (9.6%); and transportation, warehousing, and telecommunications (9.1%).
